I think of this like a sequel to “The Entertainment’s Here” in that song you are trying to distract yourself, with 50s gambling nostalgic casino vibe. This song has the same vibe but it feels like you have gotten too caught up in the chase and know that you need to make the best of it in the biggest way possible
This feels like the opening to a circus. Something about it feels so grand and whimsical. I cannot get enough.
Fun fact: The one who announces in the song “Here we go!” and “Metronome!” is actually Charlie Pellett, who is the voice used in the New York City Subway announcements.
I heard this song first on Cheer season 2 – that scene and this song are phenomenal!
