Dude came outta nowhere. Hasn’t been a guy in a while that could be alegit R&B/Soul-funk artist or a legit rapper. Dude just mixed it all up and made it his own. This is the new wave, IMO started by Mac Miller – rap can still be cool, soulful and funky. Doesn’t have to be this drill s*** where you love an artist and he’s gone next week( DUCK, Von etc). Rap can still be cool without this bulljive dissing the dead s**. Unfortunately the new generation jusy wants to hear that murder s** and its wack really.
