Fantastic film! Well written, well acted, and totally absorbing. I am confused by the pictorial demonstration of the strings, themselves … they are theoretically the smallest units of energy/matter at the quantum level, dozens of magnitudes of order below quanta as we know them (as in up, down quarks, e.g.). Whereas, these “strings” portrayed here are beyond gigantic … they are strings of “beads” of disc-like multiverses on “necklaces” pervading whatever medium it is in which they dance. And, yes — they are beautiful.
Exactly what I was hoping for! Great job to everyone involved. Thought provoking and captivating.

I have watched this movie many times. The one thing that carries the entire movie for me is the concept. It is rare to watch a movie where the story is so intriguing that it dwarfs every other shortfall the movie might have. This movie is definitely worth watching.
