61 years old. Don’t care much for today’s music but When love came to kill us moved me more than anything I’ve heard in decades.
I also really appreciate how this song is not about how hard a break up is but instead she is writing about how emotional and hard love is. Not a lot of people can describe this pain of love like this. It’s devastatingly beautiful.

Holy f**k! This song straight made me feel so emotional, it reminded me of my first love who died in a horrific car accident. We had broken up for almost a year, she moved on and so did I but somehow found our way back to each other. I mean we had plans to get married and everything but things were hard for us because we were 18/19 years old and had been dating since I was 15 and she was 16. But out of no where one day she called me and I had found out she lived a few hours away, we talked for a few weeks and decided to try and pick up where we left off. I was supposed to go pick her up after I got out of work, her being stubborn as ever decided to call her mom and tell her she was driving down with a friend and was going to surprise me. At work I was so excited, I couldn’t sit still, couldn’t focus, I felt like a kid again. I couldn’t wait to see and hold my best friend and love of my life again!! Needless to say as I was clocking out of work her mom, dad and brother were waiting for me……. I never got to see her again and I refused to go to her funeral, I refused to have my Last memory of her in a casket. I will always love you mi Reyna!
