The cartoon-style daydream sequences look very Scott Pilgrim-y and I absolutely love it. Can’t wait for this show.
This looks very Disney Channel-esque, curious to see how people will received this one and how the tone of this version of Khamala holds up when she’ll be sharing screen with the other more serious/matured heroes.
I’m still a little on the fence about the fact that they changed her powers, but everything else looks so on point. It really captures the feeling of an insecure nerdy teenage girl still searching for her identity and slowly coming into her own as a hero. I can’t wait to see more of it when it finally comes out.

A little bummed that they’re changing her stretching ability to keep it exclusive to Reed Richards. She’s basically the Green Lantern with energy stretching. She can do more than just stretch in the comics. But we’ll see where this goes.
To me its a bit coward way out of not giving her stretchy powers, precisely because they are goofy and bizarre. It fits so well with her struggles in the comic book.
It looks super cute, I’ll watch it. Reminds me of my childhood and always wanting to be Ironman.

I like the powers, however they work on any other character apart from hers. Khamala’s powers were stretchy to separate herself from captain marvel and be her own superhero. It’s even showed when she shapeshifter into a younger Carol Danvers and eventually changed back

Iman Vellani is so cute and looks like she has so much heart. It’s a kid’s dream come true to be a superhero.
For context, I’m a 19 year old American guy. I also have an aspiration to be an actor.
Sure they changed her powers and it looks like her origin from the comics. But that is still KAMALA. Iman Vellani doesn’t deserve the hate she’s getting; it’s not her fault that they made story changes.

The fact that this is coming out about 2 weeks before I have to take a 15 hour flight makes this 10x better because I’ll have something to watch
I’m a huge fan of the comics and I honestly can not understand why some people are choosing to have aneurisms over her powers in this. They clearly show her “embiggening” a couple of times, it’s just layered with a crystally, purple glow… and then they added features to her powers. The show looks pretty much up to par with Hawkeye but in the vein of SM: Homecoming. Nothing insane but a good, fun introduction for a new young avenger.

People were theorizing that the bracelets giving her the powers are going to eventually explode or be destroyed in some way. She would then absorb their energy, giving her the embiggening powers. It would a cool concept given that it would be similar to how Carol got her powers. Though I’m not sure they’d go through with that just because like some people have been saying, marvel is most likely gonna stay away from Inhumans.

I’ve always found this character irritating but this version shows so much promise. She seems like a fantastic actress and I love her already!
I was concerned that her stretching arm/fist wouldn’t translate to film, but it looks like they’ve come up with a good effect. The kid is adorable. I’m looking forward to the series and seeing her in The Marvels.
