The waters of Papua New Guinea and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef harbour an exceptional variety of venomous fish and invertebrates. The poisons of these animals are some of the most lethal known to man. They also, however, hold enormous potential in the development of therapeutic drugs.

What an AMAZING beautiful documentary!!ive not only learned so much but now appreciate the ocean n its smallest critters more..it makes me sad to hear how much man is n has destroyed so much..it only makes me more aware n interested in learning how we can make something deadly into something that can be life saving n befitting for certain diseases!!great job i hope to see more videos like this!ty

Incredible photography!! Great narration. Everyone should watch these shows.

Wonderful… Whom should the credit go… The Crater or the Team who is responsible to bring such a interesting, wonderful, knowledgeable, in-depth documentary…. 👍👍👍👍

I’d like to learn more about what to do if you encounter one of these amazing snakes, while out swimming?

You’re a great person!

Every potentially venomous or scary looking, animal I come across, I get more worried about its safety than my own! Even our funnel web spider. It’s not its fault that it wandered into the house, looking for a mate. I prefer to (carefully) lure it into a large container for release into the bush or donation to our hospitals for venom.

You & your team do great work.
