Lifetime Star Wars fan here, yeah you can go ahead and count me SUPER hyped for this. This is actually the only show I was excited for when Disney first announced they were making SW shows. Mando was awesome and BOBF was ok.

This series better have Liam Neeson in it. “Teach you to commune with him, I will.” In fact, that might be who Obi-Wan is speaking to in this trailer. It needs to show Obi-Wan with the weight of the world on his shoulders. The republic has fallen, the Jedi have been vanquished… And mainly it’s because his padawan, his brother, his pupil… Anakin fell from grace. Obi-Wan MUST feel responsible for this. He should be in mourning for Anakin as well. It needs to be Qui-Gan that pulls him from the despair. We also must see the great moment when Obi-Wan learns Anakin (Vader) is alive. Basically, this series could be one of the greatest things Star Wars has produced. The emotional weight has to be there. A heavy, hard-hitting drama. With some action and adventure of course. Also… This show should not forget, Obi-Wan is your main character and you have a world-class actor portraying him. Don’t make the plot bigger than it has to be and bogged down by too many characters. I sincerely hope Disney doesn’t botch this amazing opportunity.

Damn, I didn’t see much of Obi Wan but the atmosphere and that soundtrack already got me inside. Although it doesn’t make sense, I only ask for a meeting between Vader and Obi Dan.
