The Wire turns 20 years old in June, so releasing this show this year is fitting for David Simon. Note: This is not a sequel of The Wire. This is a totally different show, but with some of the same cast members. The addition of Jon Bernthal is going to put show over the top. Jon has never made a bad film or show, and everything he touches turns to gold and platinum. Jamie Hector can play any role, and this show will get a few Emmys watch.
This looks dangerously addictive. Good thing I gave up all my TV subscriptions and just satiate my cravings by watching trailers and reading reviews. Works for me – just.

That’s the guy from Bosch, too. Good actor. Bernthal reminds of me of the menace in David Wenham in The Boys (1998).
