The mustang makeover has to be the most beautiful documentary I have ever seen. It truly touched my heart and moved my soul. Its absolutely amazing !

What a fantastic documentary, an amazing story and some extremely talented people. Such a shame the 2 brothers couldn’t keep their horses, they were so upset and are brilliant trainers.

Great Documentary. Hats off to all those that gave their hearts to training these horses, and for letting their heart be broken to let them go.

This was an amazing Documentary, it touched my heart, and I love what Charles said about the horse “a horse is like a woman, if you touch them in the wrong place, they’ll hurt you” these beautiful creatures are something very special. To us Navajos, we see the horse as a brother or a sister, we have songs and prayers for our horses, so that when one gets on the back of a horse, they will ride as one and guide one another, help and understand each other, we have a saying that goes “if you take care of your animals, one day they’ll take Care of you” Horses are sacred, and beautiful creatures that are gifts from the sun

Oh I loved how these two young guys worked with the horses. They seemed so calming and it also seemed like they love to do that project for the horses not just for the competition.

cried at the end when the auction happened, i cant imagine how hard it was to let go๐Ÿ’”, what an awesome documentary and so sad about George he and his wife were precious together๐Ÿ’•, rest in peace ๐Ÿ’”

I loved Waylon. He is one of the best horses I’ve ever ridden. I wish my uncle could’ve seen the completed documentary. He got sick again before the film festival and passed a few months before the movie was completed and released on dvd.

I’d give this documentary 10/10 as well. If I had as much guts & competitive spirit as these guys & gals I’d do it too haha. I’m content with the good horse I have and will enjoy the view from the grandstands while those destined to train these great creatures will work them to a good home.

Enjoyed this documentary, loved it! Horses are such majestic beautiful animals. Too see the journey that a human and a horse go thru and the bond that develops..so magical. Heartbreaking to see them leave them…so crying…๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I am loving the brothers and their approach to training, and Jesus as well. Itโ€™s heartbreaking to see one of the brothers cry over not being able to keep their Mustangs. I could see how they formed a strong bond with their animals.

I’m 2 months into working at a wild mustang non-profit here in New Mexico with 18 horses. This is my 2nd volunteer assignment this year and I’m by myself almost every day. I consider each horse a friend and treat them accordingly. Breaking thru to a shy horse with consistency, patience, and respect really can make your week. Having a wild horse come up to you and just lean into you for a bit of ear scratching quickly becomes an afternoon thing. Caring for a horse injured during gelding consumes your thoughts. Getting out of the van to gently guide a group across the road so they don’t get hit becomes common. Wild Mustangs… I’m watching over them now.

This was a great video. Congratulations to all of the people involved and THANK YOU ALL for committing so much of your time, care and love for a truly fantastic cause. I did think that Clint Bailey and Rooster got robbed of first place. Rembrandt and Wylene Wilson did a great job but her show seemed more flash and glitter when compared to Bailey’s performance. Afterwards, having her daughter come running out onto the course at the end while she herself cried seemed like a tug on the judge’s heart strings. She and her horse were excellent but I think Bailey should have won for sure. The different approaches by everyone involved and different outcomes were very interesting to see. It’s great when we get to see the outcome of the bidding on the horses and where they ended up.
