Honestly, I liked this movie when I saw it as a kid back in the days because of the mystery of who might be the werewolf and how all the people are connected in this whole situation at the castle. If anything I think this would be a great horror game if some developer saw this movie. Thank you for uploading this movie!!

I actually liked this one. And having a werewolf lurking beneath a dark labyrinth of an old Hungarian castle sounds pretty scary in general 🙂

I can’t believe this film has almost 2 million views! I’m so happy! Almost no one I know has heard of it or seen it. I saw this movie on TV when I was 9, almost thirty years ago, and I had nightmares for 3 straight nights. I always remembered “The Count” as looking very sinister, but he’s actually quite handsome. Looks a bit like Gary Busey. Probably my favorite B movie of all time.

Such a classic example of how horror movies were made to be amazing. Takes me bad to my childhood and being scared out of my mind never knowing whats behind every corner and every dark room. Boo

I was very young when I watched all of them. They had me having nightmares for weeks after seeing them. I love these movies. Werewolf movies back then are more scarier than the ones now.

Castles are always the perfect place for horror movies

Halfway through and yet no sign of the howler, but atmospheric pressure abounds. Yes. Love this style. Waiting is half the challenge.

This movie scared the absolute sh*t out of me when I was a kid in the early 90’s! I was around 8 years old the first time we rented it from the video store. I could never watch it by myself, I always had to have one of my parents with me, lol. My favorite scene is at 1:24:48 when Catherine is in the jail cell just after discovering Anna dead on the floor, when she hears something and realizes that there is something behind her, and she slowly turns to see the werewolf’s face and shouts “No!” Just before the werewolf attacks her.1:24:48

This is my favorite of the Howling series. I can watch it the whole way through each time.

I think this is the best one hands down because it breaks down the origin of the werewolf and I feel like if they come back out with another one it should be like this one but 10 times better

Always amazes me how someone changes into a werewolf, make a nasty bloody scene, change back to human with clothes all neat and tidy like nothing happened, ha!
