De-SPAC Merger
A de-SPAC merger is the merger between a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) and a target company that completes the business combination and converts the SPAC into a traditional, operating, publicly listed company.
Example: A SPAC merges with a private technology target in a de-SPAC merger; after closing, the combined company trades under the target's name and ticker.
