Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) is a non-GAAP metric that estimates a company’s operating performance by excluding financing costs, income taxes, and non-cash depreciation and amortization.
Example: Example: A company reports operating income of $80 million and depreciation and amortization of $20 million, resulting in EBITDA of $100 million.
