Exchange Rate

An exchange rate is the value of one currency expressed in terms of another currency. It shows how much of the second currency is required to obtain one unit of the first.

Example: If the EUR/USD rate is 1.15, one euro costs 1.15 U.S. dollars; a stakeholder reviewing international pricing may monitor changes in this rate to understand potential impact on expenses denominated in euros.
