Free Cash Flow Yield
Free cash flow yield is the ratio of a company’s annual free cash flow to its market value; it is typically calculated as free cash flow per share divided by the current share price or as free cash flow divided by enterprise value.
Example: If a company reports trailing free cash flow of $1.2 billion and has a market capitalization of $24 billion, the FCF yield based on market value is 5%.
