Gravestone Doji
A Gravestone Doji is a doji candlestick where the open and close are near the session low and there is a long upper shadow with little or no lower shadow, indicating intraday highs that were not sustained by the close.
Example: On a stock chart with a recent uptrend, a Gravestone Doji forms at the end of a trading day; traders assess the next day's price action for confirmation of a potential shift in momentum.
