National Best Bid And Offer (NBBO)
The National Best Bid And Offer (NBBO) is the highest bid and the lowest offer for a security across all eligible U.S. exchanges and market centers, as compiled and published by the Securities Information Processor.
Example: If the NBBO shows a bid of $100.50 and an offer of $100.60, an incoming order priced at $100.50 or better could be matched against the best available quotes on the book.
