Net Margin

Net margin, also called net profit margin, is the percentage of revenue that remains as net income after all expenses, interest, taxes, and other costs have been deducted. It is calculated as Net Income divided by Revenue and expressed as a percentage.

Example: For example, a company with $1,200,000 in revenue and $120,000 in net income has a net margin of 10%.
