Wedge Pattern
A wedge pattern is a chart formation created by two converging trendlines that connect price highs and lows, reflecting narrowing price action. It is generally observed as a possible precursor to a breakout, but the breakout direction is not guaranteed.
Example: On a daily chart, price forms two converging trendlines that create a wedge; a breakout beyond one boundary marks a directional move beyond the pattern.
